How to fix iOS SIM card errors

Learning the fundamentals of your iOS smartphone is the first thing every user needs to do. Things like making a call and sending a text message may seem simple tasks to complete, but you’ll need to first make sure that your SIM card is correctly configured. The problem is, that a lot of SIM cards can occasionally malfunction, which in turn can lead to other problems with your device. Due to this, it’s important to quickly diagnose and fix any potential SIM card errors as soon as they arrive. There’s a lot of potential errors that could appear, so you’ll need to try our universal steps to potentially fix it. In this tutorial, we’ll be showing you how to fix iOS SIM card errors.

Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iOS device and look for the wireless tab that’s provided towards the top.

Step 2: Now tab the Mobile Networks option that will be shown, through which you’ll be able to see if your SIM card status will be shown. If an error message appears, then proceed with the tutorial.

Step 3: Press and hold both the power and home button on your iOS device for 15 seconds. This will perform a full reset of your software, without deleting or removing any of your files.

Now that the reset is done, your device should instantly start up again. Once on, check the top of your display, which should now show your mobile network in working order. Also head back to the Mobile Network tab in the Settings app to see the update to your SIM card. If no error message appears, the issue should have now been resolved.
