Arguably one of the best things about your smartphone, is that it offers an unprecedented amount of ways for you to stay connected. That connectivity isn’t limited to the likes of the Phone and Messaging app, in fact, it goes far beyond that. Notifications keep you up to date with the latest goings on in your favourite apps, while also providing you with on-the-spot information when you need it. However, some apps like to keep you notified more than you’d probably like. If you’ve got a problematic app that won’t stop spamming you through notifications, use our steps below to correctly block Moto G5 app notifications with ease.
Step 1: Open the Settings app on your device, before scrolling down to the Sounds and Notifications tab listed within.
Step 2: Now search for the App Notifications tab. You generally find this listed at the bottom of your device, but on older devices it may be hidden under a secondary Apps tab.
Step 3: A list of all your installed apps will now be shown. Press on the Block option listed at the top right.
Step 4: Select an app to add to your block list. Obviously remember, that any app you add here will have their notifications permanently blocked, until you go back into this menu and enable it again.
You’ll instantly be able to notice the changes on your device, especially if the Moto G5 blocked apps were serial notification senders. Of course, you can go back into this menu at any point and adjust the block list accordingly.
